DATA STORAGE REDUNDANCY
Data storage occurs across multiple data bases allowing for
transaction storage, log storage and trace audits. This not only
increases redundancy but allows for efficient reporting without
effecting performance. Data can also be synchronized with an
offsite network for disaster recovery.
HARDWARE REDUNDANCY
Hardware can also provide redundancy through the usage of
multiple servers and application routing which hunts for the
next available host.
COMMUNICATION REDUNDANCY
Communication can be dial up, radio, GSM, X25, GPRS with hunting
capabilities and fallback from one communication medium to
another in the case of failure.
